VOTER INFORMATION FOR NOV. 4, 2025 GENERAL ELECTION
Qualifications to Register to Vote:

Be a United States citizen

Be 18 years old by December 31 of the year in which you file this form (note: you must be 18 years old by the date of the general, primary or other election in which you want to vote)

Reside at your present address at least 30 days before an election

Not be in prison for a felony conviction;

Not be adjudged mentally incompetent by a court;
-
Not claim the right to vote elsewhere
Important dates:
OCTOBER 25, 2025

Voter registration applications must be received by a Board of Elections to be eligible to vote in the General Election.

Last day for the Board of Elections to receive an early mail ballot application by letter, fax, or through the online request portal.

Last day for the Board of Elections to receive an absentee ballot application by letter, fax, or through the absentee ballot portal.

Notices of change of address from registered voters must be received by this date.
NOVEMBER 3, 2025

Last day to apply IN PERSON for an early mail ballot.

Last day to apply IN PERSON for an absentee ballot.
NOVEMBER 4, 2025 – ELECTION DAY

Election Day — Polls are open across New York State.

Last day to postmark a mailed ballot. It must be received by the local Board of Elections no later than November 12.

Last day to deliver a ballot IN PERSON to your local Board of Elections or any poll site in your county.
